Kevin J. Kelleher, age 53, is president and chief executive officer of Cartus Corporation.


With 30 years of relocation industry experience, Kelleher has developed and managed a progressive range of businesses for Cartus, including corporate group moves, international assignments, private label affinity programs, policy design and consulting, diversity initiatives, and government and military programs. He is responsible for over 2,800 global employees with offices in North America, Europe and Asia. Additionally, Kelleher oversees Cartus' broad portfolio of clients worldwide.

Prior to becoming president and CEO, Kelleher was senior vice president and general manager of Cartus' destination services unit. He has also held senior leadership positions in sales, client relations, network management and strategic planning.

 

Kelleher is the inaugural recipient of the Nancy K. Dolan Leadership Award in honor of his years of extensive involvement in community service (April 2006), and received the President’s Award from the Connecticut Minority Supplier Development Council (April 2004). In June 2005, Kelleher was appointed chairman of the Connecticut Transportation Strategy Board by Connecticut Governor M. Jodi Rell.

 

Under his leadership, Cartus was named one of Connecticut's Top 18 places to work by Connecticut Magazine in 2000. In 2004, the company was selected by The Human Resources Outsourcing Association®, in conjunction with HRO Today magazine, as the winner of the prestigious HRO Relocation Provider of the Year Award. For seven consecutive years, it has been recognized by Training magazine in its Top 125 Listing for companies who provide excellence in organizational development and training. In December 2005, for the second consecutive year, Cartus was selected by China STAFF magazine as winner of the prestigious award for HR Outsourcing Firm of the Year. The China STAFF HR Awards recognize outstanding companies and individuals who have made significant contributions to HR in China and Hong Kong.

 

Kelleher is an executive member of the advisory board of the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association and serves on the board of directors of the Inner City Foundation for Charity and Education. He is an executive member of the African-American, Hispanic, Asian and Native American (AHANA) Scholarship Committee at Fairfield University, as well as a member of the advisory board of Fairfield University's Dolan School of Business. Kelleher was the 2001 and 2002 chairman of the Fairfield County (CT) Junior Achievement Golf Tournament. In addition to his many memberships and community-based service initiatives, Kelleher was the 2001 recipient of the Employee Relocation Council's Meritorious Service Award. He was the 2001 and 2002 honorary chairman for the Connecticut Minority Supplier Development Council (CMSDC) Trade Expo and Business Opportunity Fair.

 

Kelleher received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Fairfield University.
