Realogy recognizes that internships represent a win-win proposition. Interns benefit from the day-to-day business experience and guidance provided by a trusted professional within the organization who is an expert in the student's field of study. Organizations that sponsor internship programs benefit from the cultivation of new talent, increased retention, improved entry-level succession and fast track development of its future leaders.
While one of the key objectives of our internship program is to provide career guidance and role models for interns, supervisors and mentors benefit as well. As one supervisor put it, “One of the greatest rewards of sponsoring an intern is the personal satisfaction of fostering the individual’s professional growth.”
If you are looking to shape your future with the “real world” experience an internship affords, send your resume and letter of inquiry to interns@realogy.com. Meanwhile, read on to learn more about the experiences shared by a few recent “graduates” of our summer 2006 intern program.

‘…I became more knowledgeable about this fascinating field’
My internship with the Realogy Franchise Group was an invaluable experience. Before joining the company, I didn’t know anything about corporate America, much less the real estate business. However, with each passing week, I became more knowledgeable about this fascinating field through a series of “lunch & learn seminars,” online training courses, and hands-on experience.
People went well out of their way to accept me as a member of the Company and to guide me along the way. My internship allowed me to enhance my marketing skills in a way that cannot be achieved inside a classroom. The extensive training and hands-on experience that I have received are assets that I can take with me into the future. Thanks to the internship program at the Realogy, I have become better prepared to begin a successful career.

‘…the most important discovery will be that of your own potential’
What a college grad truly needs to know when entering the workforce is never solely what we learn from thousands of dollars in textbooks and hours of lectures. True experience is gained from interaction. As a Realogy intern, you get an amazing opportunity to hone social and professional skills while making important connections. While the position is an impressive addition to any resume, it’s the professional connections that just might lead to a good job come graduation day.
The program provides extensive training, high level ‘meet and greets’ and a total immersion in all that is corporate life. As an intern, you will discover all that is Realogy, but the most important discovery will be that of your own potential.

‘The internship program is tremendously personal…’
The internship program is tremendously personal, warm and welcoming. It was exciting to play a role in this corporate culture, where team cohesion and collaboration is heavily grounded. I was treated as an equal from my team members and had the responsibility of fulfilling my puzzle piece for each project in order to contribute to the overall goals of my department. I was given the opportunity to meet with senior executive personnel who challenged my intellect and cared about my personal development.
This first-hand experience has given me an inside perspective about the language and culture of the corporation. The internship has also helped me gain insight into my own persona by recognizing my strengths as well as my weaknesses. I want to sincerely thank the networks and friends I have made at Realogy Corporation who have positively influenced my experience.

‘…having the internship allowed me to jump right in!’
Taking a position as an intern was one of the best career moves that I ever made. It afforded me the opportunity to be a part of a variety of different projects, work with various people within a department and make my mark at the same time. When I was hired on full time, having the internship allowed me to jump right in! The fact that I was already being acclimated with the culture, work style and processes allowed for a smooth transition. Therefore, every intern should take full advantage of their time in the program. This is the rare time in life when you get a chance to discover, firsthand, your strengths and weaknesses while learning how your text books are applied in the real world. The best part is you get to determine the direction in which you would like to proceed.
